Instrumentation projects
Instrumentation activities at the MPIA are divided in two categories:

Ground Based Telescopes and Instruments

Infrared Space Observatories

Our department actively supports both categories - that means all kinds of astronomical instrumentation ranging from space instruments like PACS, long baseline interferometers like MIDI, and a number of Adaptive Optics instruments like NACO.

Ongoing instrumentation projects in our department
