About me

I am a PhD researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy in Heidelberg, Germany. My current research focuses on examining various properties of galaxies in 6 Gyr old universe, with the emphasis on star-formation and dust properties.

I am interested in learning more about the process of maintaining quiescence at z ~ 1 through the AGN feedback.

For my research I use the Large Early Galaxy Astrophysics Census high signal-to-noise and high resolution spectra which enables us for the first time to explore in detail stellar dynamics and star-formation histories of z ~ 1 galaxies. In combination with LEGA-C I use the VLA 3GHz data set to study the AGN feedback and ALMA data set for a detailed study of the dust properties.
