I am a Post-Doc at the Max Planck Institute für Astronomie since March 2008. Before that I completed my PhD jointly at the Observatoire de Lyon- ENS Lyon and at the Astrophysique Research Institute - Liverpool John Moores University.

During my Phd, I studied the kinematics of Seyfert and normal galaxies, to investigate the fuelling processes of galactic nuclei.
I am also very interested in the stellar formation in galaxies and in general in the different physical processes in galaxies which can create any activity: AGN, starburst, local formation of stars and in their relation and impact on galaxy evolution.
A more detailed description of my work, my publications and my PhD thesis can be found on my research pages .

During my PhD I also did some teachings, mostly at the preparation of the "agregation" at the ENS Lyon. The agregation is the highest degree to be a high-school teacher in France. I described different lab teachings and mock-exams I conducted here .

If you want to know more about me, you can also take a look at my personal pages (in French at the moment).

Enjoy your visit!
