Dear participants,

Some more information about the workshop:

 - Talks will be 12 minutes + 3 minutes questions.
   Reviews will be 23 minutes + 7 minutes questions.

 - Below you find a list of people accomodated at Ringberg castle, and 
   those accomodated at the hotel. These rooms have already been booked 
   for you by us. We have booked 4 nights:
     Arrival:   Monday September 11
     Departure: Friday September 15

    *** THE HOTEL/CASTLE. ANY CANCELLATIONS AFTER THAT TIME     ***

    *** NOT HAVE TO PAY CANCELLATION FEE AFTER THAT TIME.       ***
    *** (THOUGH IT IS NOT SURE EITHER THAT THIS MUST BE PAYED:  ***
    *** THIS DEPENDS PRESUMABLY ON HOW LATE YOU CANCEL).        ***

 - The cost of the Ringberg castle is found on the web site of the castle
   (see link from workshop web site): accomodation = 65 euro, breakfast = 7
   euro, lunch + dinner = 23 euro. Payment at the last day of your stay, at
   the Ringberg reception.

 - The bus from the airport to Ringberg on Monday and from Ringberg to the
   airport is FREE. It will pick up people from the Munich airport on Monday
   September 11. The rendez-vous is at 11:00 AM SHARP (!!!) at the meeting
   point in the central area of the Airport (where the entrance to the S-Bahn
   railway station is). Attached to this email is a map of the central area,
   with the meeting point shown. One of our colleagues (probably Sascha Quanz)
   will meet you there and organize the bus ride. Please be there BEFORE
   11:00, because shortly after 11:00 the group will enter the bus and depart.

 - The bus will pass by at Ismaning S-Bahn station some time between 11:30
   and 12:00. In Ismaning there are hotels where you might find accomodation
   from Sunday to Monday (see email of 20 june 2006, available on the 
   web site of the workshop; if there are still rooms left...). 

 - For those that miss the bus due to delayed flight: take the S-Bahn
   to Munich Central Station ("Muenchen Hauptbahnhof"). From there
   take the "BOB-Bahn" train to Tegernsee. From the village Tegernsee
   take a taxi to the Ringberg castle (the chauffeur will know the
   place).

 - From 13:00 to the start of the program (14:15) there will be sandwiches
   and drinks at the castle.

 - There will be an abstract booklet printed. Those of you who wish to
   modify their original abstract, or who have not yet sent an abstract,
   please use the web-upload tool for (re-)sending your abstract.
   Deadline: 1 week before the workshop.

 - If you wish to come with your spouse, and have not yet already 
   told us so, don't forget to tell us IMMEDIATELY! Otherwise you
   may experience problems with accomodation.

For people in the hotel ("Hotel zur Post" in Kreuth, Noerdl. Hauptstrasse 
5-7, Tel. +49-(0)8029-99550), here is some important information:

 - Each morning a bus will pick you up at 8:30 to transport you to the
   castle.

 - In the evening there will be multiple transports to the hotel, also on
   request. So the people in the hotel do not have to miss the fun in the
   evening!

 - The hotel costs 60 Euro for a single room. This includes breakfast 
   AND free access to the sauna! Double room is 96 Euro. Please pay
   on your depature day at the hotel reception.

 - The costs of lunch and dinner at the castle will have to be payed at the
   castle on the last day (23 euro includes both lunch and dinner).

As mentioned before, the participant names and their talks/posters/reviews are
published on the workshop web page (www.mpia.de/homes/fdtp). The final
schedule (who speaks when) will be published shortly before the workshop.
