In the following you will find some useful information about 
the Ringberg workshop September 11th-15th. 

Scientific Program:
-------------------
  The program will be finalized in the coming weeks. But a list of
  participants is already posted on the web site. 

Accomodation at Ringberg:
-------------------------
  38 participants can be accommodated at the castle.
  20 participants will be accommodated in a hotel closeby. The prices
  are nearly the same. The full per-day cost of accomodation plus
  breakfast, lunch and dinner amounts to 95 Euro. We will let you
  know in the coming weeks whether you'll stay at the hotel or the
  castle. Please inform us if you *prefer* to stay at the Hotel! The 
  booking of Ringberg castle as well as the hotel nearby will be 
  done by us.

Times and dates:
----------------
  Monday, September 11:
     11:00 AM        Rendez-vous at Munich airport (details follow later), 
                     bus departs from airport to Ringberg. Of course,
                     this is only relevant to those of you who have
                     interest in using the bus. 
     ~ 11:40         Bus picks up people from Ismaning S-Bahn station.
                     This applies to those of you who arrive on Sunday
                     and wish to stay overnight in Ismaning. See hotel
                     details below. 
     13:00           Scheduled arrival of the bus at Ringberg Castle.
     13:00 - 14:15   Sandwiches and drinks at the castle
     14:15 - 17:30   Start of the science program
     17:30 ???       Those of you who stay at the hotel will be transported
                     there to check in, and of course transported back.
     18:30           Dinner

  Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: Program follows

  Friday, September 15:
      9:00 - 12:30   Program
     12:30 - 13:30   Lunch
     14:00           Bus departs, first to airport, then to Ismaning.
                     Count on 2 hours for the trip to the airport when
                     scheduling your flight. 

                                         
Details about the hotels in Ismaning:
-------------------------------------
  If you arrive on Sunday or depart on Saturday, you will need accomodation
  in the Munich area. There is a village between Munich downtown and
  Munich Airport called Ismaning, which is along the convenient S8 urban
  train line that connects the airport with the city. There are various
  hotels there (see list on the registration form, also repeated below in
  this email). If you want to make use of this, you must book youself!!

  WARNING: In the weekend of September 10 the Pope visits the region, 
           hence these rooms can be quickly filled. And in the weekend
           of September 16 the "Oktoberfest" will start, meaning also
           that hotels are quickly filled (see above: only two hotels
           still available).
