I am a postdoc at the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy in Heidelberg, Germany, working with Fabian Walter. My research focuses on star formation and the interstellar medium in galaxies: I use radio, millimeter, and infrared observations (along with whatever else I can get my hands on) to try and understand how galaxies form clouds of dense gas and dust, how these clouds form stars, and then what happens to the gas when the stars turn on and blow up.
