Evert works on understanding how choices made during the processing of observations of directly imaged planets influence the inferred spectral shape and outcome of retri evals. In addition, he is working on a retrieval study of the HR 8799 planet system with VLTI-GRAVITY data, and how the planets’ composition may inform our understanding of their formation.
