-1998: Matura Type B (Latin). Award for the best overall matura of the year at Kirchenfeld, special award for excellent achievements in physics, chemistry and biology.

-1998-2004.Study of Physics at the University of Bern, Minor Fields Mathematics and Astronomy.

-2003: Start of astronomical observation for the Astronomical Institute of the University of Bern, weekly observations in Zimmerwald observatory using the 1 meter ZIMLAT telescope.

-2004: Master of Science in Physics, Supervisor Prof. Willy Benz, subject "Planetesimal impacts into forming giant planets". Award for the best master or doctoral thesis in physcs of the year at the University of Bern.

-2004-2008: PhD study a the Theoretical Astrophysics & Planetary Science Research Group. PhD subject "Extrasolar planet population synthesis", in close collaboration with Dr. Yann Alibert and Prof. Willy Benz (supervisor). Cluster Administration, member of the HARPS Consortium, PI Prof. Michel Mayor (Observatoire de Geneve).

-Summer 2004: Observational mission at the Observatoire de Haute Provence OHP with ELODIE, and first observational mission in Chile at La Silla observatory with HARPS. Then 1-2 HARPS missions per year.

-Starting 2004: teaching as assistant at the Institute of Physics.

-Spring 2005: Representative of the assistants in the faculty commission, member of the strategy committee.

-Winter 2005: Planing, ordering and installation of the new 64 node computational cluster for the research group in Bern.
