Deputy:

The Ombudsperson's role is to provide help in all cases of scientific malpractice. Anyone who is involved in a scientific conflict or who suspects scientific misconduct, may turn to the Ombudsperson for confidential advice and assistance. The Ombudsperson, who is not answerable to anyone else (in particular not to the Institute's directors), can help to identify and pursue appropriate actions.

The Equal Opportunities Officers promote and monitor equal opportunities for women and men, work to eliminate existing and prevent future gender discrimination, provide input to all personnel-related, organizational and social measures affecting the equality of women and men, deal with the compatibility of family and work, work towards the prevention of sexual harassment in the workplace, and provide advice and support on these issues to individual employees

Deputy:

The representative supports employees with disabilities and advises them as well as the institute management on related issues concerning the institute as a work environment for such employees.
