Call for Proposals (CfP) for P95: deadline November 7, 2014 24:00 GMT

Proposals for observations at the ESO/MPG 2.2m telescope on LaSilla for P95 (April - September 2015) are solicited.  MPIA receives about 70 observing nights evenly scheduled over the semester.

General Information

General information about the MPG 2.2m telescope on LaSilla is available via the ESO/MPG22 webpage.

The 2.2m-telescope on La Silla is a twin of the 2.2m-telescope on Calar Alto. A new agreement between MPIA and ESO is in place, and regulates access to the telescope during the April 1, 2013 - September 30, 2016, period. 

The instruments available are the Wide-Field Imager, FEROS and GROND.  Users of GROND please see GROND description and  preparation of GROND OBs.

Director's Discretionary Time (DDT) is available during MPIA observing blocks.

Observing programmes scheduled during MPIA may be interrupted  by GROND/ToO triggers from the GROND group at the MPE, unless otherwise flagged in the observing schedule. Please see rules for ToO interrupts at the 2.2m telescope.
