How did our planet earth develop? Could there be similar earths in our solar neighbourhood? Both theory and observation experts in the field of planetary development will come together in our workshop to answer these fascinating questions.
We will discuss the most important issues in the forefront of research, today, beginning with the collapse of a molecular cloud through to the dynamics and development of a protoplanetary disk. We want to examine the components of planets, their atmospheres and the development phases of rocky and gaseous planets in order to understand the statistics of observed exoplanets better.
