Career opportunities in the field of Satellite Communication

In recent years, the MPI for Astronomy (MPIA) has organized career "days" or lecture events in which guests from science-related companies or organizations have informed about their work and career opportunities beyond research institutes and in industry.

On April 23, 2024 starting at 2:00 pm, MPIA is organizing another information event in cooperation with the German Center for Satellite-Communications r.S. (DeSK) to provide insights into some of DeSK’s exciting professional fields of work.

Interested students and young scientists are cordially invited. Register by 9 April 2024.

DeSK is a network of companies, institutes and universities that are active in the field of satellite communication and they are interested in attracting young science- and technology-related talents.

During the event, member representatives will present job and career opportunities in their respective companies and institutions. Afterwards, the speakers will be available for an informal discussion.

The event will be held in English.
