Summary
A newly discovered object called „The Cliff“ could be the key to understanding the properties of a mysterious type of distant object in the early universe known as little red dots. „The Cliff“ suggests that the little red dots are supermassive black holes embedded in a thick shell of gas. We call this new class of objects black hole stars.
