Perspectives of Planet and Star Formation

Welcome to Perspectives of Planet and Star Formation 2026 (PoPSF2026) to be held from June 22-26, 2026.

In the spirit of Thomas Henning’s career, this conference aims at discussing present and future research in the field of planet and star formation (and also a bit the past). The one-week meeting will cover a diversity of topics, also from very different science approaches. Topics will be:

Early phases of star formation, Planet formation - observations and theory, Instrumentation - ground and space, Exoplanets, Astrochemistry in space and laboratory

In addition to the scientific conference, we will also have a social afternoon on the Wednesday, 24 June 2026, on the MPIA campus.
