- Procurement of investment and consumer goods as well as services
- Advises buyers, negotiates with suppliers, market research
- Preparation of service and works contracts
- Introduction of the Max Planck Society’s eProcurement system
- Processing of customs and transportation matters
- Supervision of invoice verification and recording of incoming goods
- Insurance matters (property and vehicle insurance)
- Financial management
